How to learn to Usher at a Bar or Bat Mitvah

Here’s a good training schedule for anyone planning a Bar or Bat Mitzvah to ensure your ushers are properly trained for the blessed event. Adoptable for all religions and other celebratory occasions!

Schedule for Usher Training:

 8-9 AM : The Art of saying “Shabbat Shalom”
9-10 AM: How to Deliver the Goods: Passing out 
               brochures without getting a paper cut
10-11 AM: Avoiding people you don’t like
11-noon: The Difficult Congregant: when and when
              not to call security
Noon – 12:15 PM: Lunch
12:15- 3 PM: Panel Discussion with Retired Ushers: The 
                   Good, the Bad and the Ugly
3 -4 PM: Group discussion: do I really have what
              it takes to usher?
4-5 PM: Q & A and concluding remarks
