NEW YORK (AP) — Glenn Beck signed off today from his Fox News Channel show and surprised everyone when he announced that his show did not belong on television and would immediately begin broadcasting on the planet Mars. “This show has become a movement, not a TV show and that’s why it belongs exclusively on Mars.” Beck said right before signing off.
Calls to NASA regarding the MARS broadcast were unreturned though one unnamed official noted the lack of intelligent life on the Red Planet. When asked about that fact in a press conference following the broadcast, Beck rejected this assertion. “There’s as much intelligent life on Mars as there is on my show, and that’s good enough for me.”
