The subject of three articles published today impart as much as any recent collection that yes, “the times they are a-changin.”
First, General Electric, the company that powered America and as recently as a decade and a half ago held the title as the world’s most valuable public company, lost its spot on the Dow Industrial to Walgreens.
Second, AMC Theaters unveiled its A-List, a $19.95 a month ticket service that allows members to see up to three movies per week. The world’s largest movie theater seeks to remain both relevant and competitive.
Lastly, the City of Arlington, TX announced construction of a 100,000-square-foot esports facility called Esports Stadium Arlington. Upon completion it will be the country’s largest esport venue accommodating upwards of 2500 fans.
